Personal Requirements
Before enrolling in a class, please consider your capacity to commit the time and energy necessary to complete it. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at office@onlineftta.org.
Age and Education
Because this is a training with similar demands as the Full-time Training in Anaheim, we require that all learners be at least 18 years old and strongly suggest that all learners have a college degree before enrolling in classes. Before enrolling in a class, please consider your capacity to commit the time and energy necessary to complete it. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at office@onlineftta.org.
Class Time
The classes in FTTA-OL require a minimum of one hour per day and typically can take as many as 10 to 15 hours per week.
Language
Because FTTA-OL classes involve extensive writing, we require that all learners have the ability both to read and to write comfortably in English. Learning in the classes is collaborative, and insufficient English-language skills will result in frustration not only to the learner but to the entire class.
Technical Requirements
Because FTTA-OL is conducted entirely in an online environment, there are several technical requirements which must be met by all learners. This page addresses each requirement to insure that you are able to participate fully in our courses.
Internet Connectivity
Because FTTA-OL courses require learner activity on at least five days each week, it is imperative that learners have ready access to a reliable internet connection during the entire eight week duration of a course. Please take into consideration both your internet access while at home and while away if you anticipate travelling while enrolled in a course.
Microphone
To record an audio prophecy, learners will need a computer microphone. It is also possible to use a US telephone for a small fee.
A word about using an iPhone, iPad, Android tablet, or smartphone to take classes in FTTA-OL
The FTTA Online program is not designed to be used with iPhones, iPads, Android tablets, or smartphones. The program involves an extensive amount of thoughtful writing, which would make participation on these devices difficult. The limitations of text input on these devices could encourage short, quick responses which are counterproductive to the whole intention of the program, which is to delve deeply into the materials. Further, not all components of the program are technically compatible with these devices, and FTTA-OL is unable to provide technical support or adjust grading should you encounter technical difficulties. If you only have access to one of these devices or intend to use one of them as your primary device for coursework, you may want to reconsider your ability to participate in the program.
Please be aware that those unfamiliar with internet technologies may encounter a steep learning curve during the first week of class. Take a look at a sample course week by clicking on ‘Browse a Sample Week’ on the left-hand side of the page.
